OUR HISTORY

Launch Energy Group was founded in 2022 by Rick Sanders and his wife Christa. Rick’s family has been in HVAC for more than 70 years. His grandfather, Barney, opened Sanders Heating Company in 1944 in Chicago, Illinois. The Sanders Heating Company did mostly commercial HVAC. Rick started working for his grandfather in 1987 until his grandfather’s retirement in 1990. His father then moved the company to West Palm Beach, Florida the same year. Rick decided to move to Florida and work for his father in 1992. This is when Rick gained his residential HVAC experience. The business ran until 2004, when Rick's father retired and sold the business. Rick then moved to Central Florida with his family and started working for a larger local HVAC company. He managed the residential division of that company for 18 years. In 2022 he got the opportunity to work for a smaller company where he could create his own residential division. He then noticed a need for other certain services in the industry, thus creating Launch Energy Group with his son Jake.
